Directing a movie is just deciding whether to check the Pastoral or Grimy box, basically. Frankly, I'd think it was boring even if it was hand drawn!

There are worse things happening rn, I know. But it's so emblematic of the way a lot of people fail to engage with art of all types, and that's part of why they don't get the argumetns against this shit.
