Abgesehen davon, dass es zu spaet kommt: in eine Militärmaschine vom Typ C130 passen weniger Hikfsgüter als auf einen LKW. Ich war bei einem dieser Hilfsflüge dabei. Wenn sie nicht in hoher Zahl stattfinden, ist es absolut kein Ersatz für Transporte am Boden.

Letzten Samstag habe ich auf der Langen Nach der ZEIT vor & mit 600+ Menschen über #Gaza gesprochen. Unfallfrei, respektvoll, leidenschaftlich.

Mit seiner Suppenküche, die über Spenden aus dem Ausland finanziert wird, hat er täglich tausende Menschenversorgt. Der Fotograf Mahmoud Issa hat Mahmud im Frühjahr für unser Dossier über Gaza besucht, dabei ist dieses Bild entstanden. (4)

#lastbook I read: i give it a 4 out of 5. Very good first part, I also like how it brings together archeology & anthropology. But sometimes couldn’t help but think the authors were too keen to make their point of reading history differently. All in all good stuff and a new look on early history.

Yes, I am that guy who will - again - shlep this 1985 guide to #Jordan. Parts of it are outdated, sure. But I have used it many many times, esp when taking friends to Jordan. And I am talking about a holiday here, so who wants to google??!
