Spent my birthday weekend in London with great food and a bit of history.
Atcthe Tower of London, being photographed with Tower Bridge in the background. Close-up of delicious Cheung Fung - a dish I had been wanting to try for years. Three delicate rolls with different fillings. Beef in black bean sauce - glistening and looking deliciously rich. Chicken and sweetcorn soup - one of my favourite starters.

A beautiful day for my first ever Sunday roast at a pub. I have lived here for 16 years, so it was about time!
Two plates of a Sunday roast with massive Yorkshire puddings. The sun is shining and making the colours pop. I am tucking into the roast. The plate is bigger than my head. A large glass of orange juice and a pinkish orangey cocktail with a slice of lime glinting in the sun.

Passed my Life in the UK test today, so we had a celebratory lunch.
