Hive mind fic gets named after hive mind song (by slipknot). I intentionally went looking for songs about hive minds bc I couldn’t figure out a name for the fic 😭 I did end up liking the song tho.

I wrote this fic back in high school and ended up forgetting about it ngl. The song inspired the fic itself- I know I’m a wolf, originally by the heratics but I love metal and based it on the ver by discovery of an afterlife- which adds a line about how the wolf is intentionally manipulating.

Ah yes, Thy Scent by Shade Empire. Read the lyrics to this song and you may understand why I would want to choose it for inspiration. Besides, fanfic is about scent… name of song is thy scent. And this lyric is just really gross, which is how I wanted the reader to feel.

Home by Cavetown was my theme song in middle school, I was listening to Cavetown when I wrote “But little did we know the stars welcome him with open arms”- the title just being one of the more famous lyrics from Home. The song talks about cutting hair, so I thought it’d fit.

Starting with by far my most popular fic, love bites. When I was in the military a buddy of mine was obsessed with the band ice nine kills- and that love has rubbed off on me. Love Bites is my fav song by them- originally I was going to use it for a werewolf fic.
