Definitely agree on the Shroud/Robert dynamic. What's there is pretty good, but feels like it's just scratching the surface. Overall, incredibly clever game!

(apparently the deluxe edition has a comic that has more Shroud backstory but I didn't pay for that so 🤷)

Personally, the fact that Larian (Vincke) wants to use it at a base level for development.

Whereas Sandfall used it as placeholder assets. Of course I'd rather they just use a blank pink PNG that says "PLACEHOLDER" so that they can't miss it upon release but you can't win every battle 🤷

But seriously, I went from considering playing each and every Divinity game prior based on the studios pedigree and anticipation for what's next to completely rejecting it and no longer caring about it. Oh well, still time to back pedal we'll see what they do 🤷
