Sadly most of the sales this year seem to be only on physical bundle copies in US-based stores for 5e materials. Some sites are doing sales on digital copies of old edition materials like 2e, but the official current edition sales this year are grim.

ah, 5e rules! before the cloak and pin would be their own items and be fine in 1e-4e, but in this edition there are piwafi in "out of the abyss" and it does require attunement. so they will likely take two of your three slots (without feats like jarlaxle's special "master attuner").

from ed (drow of the underdark). he implies the insignia can be a cloak pin which are quite long and able to be used to stab in a pinch (penannular brooch is the term in english). including my example of one designed in 2e for agrach dyrr (i wanted one like an egyptian heart scarab for the lichdrow)
