It's fun and it's really nice to see and enjoy the results! I'm still waiting on 2 beefsteak tomatoes that were late bloomers, likewise a bell pepper. My lettuce is a frilly heirloom that's self-seeding, which grows back in its planter every spring. Great for sandwiches & salads!

@vegplotter.bsky.social I live high up in Albuquerque, with sandy soil. I have a 12 x 12 pergola I want to cover with plastic sheeting to hold the moisture in for my mobile planters, but I fear it will magnify the heat of the sun's rays. Would white be a better option? Recommendations?

Pancakes for breakfast, shower around noon; haircut & shopping later in the day. Life is so much simpler now. I don't miss the stress. Doing my best to lay in food supplies in my pantry before Trump's tariffs ruin our economy. I'm not a prepper by nature, but I learned from folks who struggled.
