Price is a huge factor because it’s not all around better. It’s a hype strategy through deep subsidies and it buys them priceless training data on western inputs. Let’s not pretend like they are doing it for world peace.

Could that be because China is driving insane hype on social media while subsidizing costs, purely to push adoption, and slow western growth? kind of like they did with TikTok?

Does this imply that future models might need to have internal tooling so they can choose the best reasoning strategy given the providence of the task at hand?

Soon to be announced Microsoft Retypuj, a Notebook platform nobody asked for, written in C#. It also automatically adds a $9 per month subscription fee, $49 per month hosting fee, $12 per month cloud data fee and defaults all permissions on your computer to shared with Copilot.

That’s interesting I’ve had it barf multiple times, give weird answers and generate hundreds and thousands of random tokens. My sample size is small but I’m using their API. It also thinks it’s chat GPT. Just ask it. Someone failed some scrubbing tasks 🤣
