There are things that seek to taste the living world, things that were never human... Oh they try to blend in, but their host will inevitably rot and decay unless they sate dark hungers...

There's nothing bad about gaming as a social hobby.
But the disconnect stems from players and hosts alike not wanting to run other systems. Some hosts/groups only run what they like, and many players experience is built on what people are willing to run. Some hosts would never consider certain games

This is such a joyful scene. I wish people didn't hate joy and imagination in a game they claim to love.
