Lovable curmudgeon. I troll politicians and corporations. Half Trotskyite half Galbraith fan. Hayek and Friedman suck. Proud American. Support our veterans and teachers. Seeker of the truth. Questioner of everything.
And the unions, specifically DC37 and UFT, are the ones that support the advantage plan. How is he planning to combat the two most powerful unions in NYC?

Ok but there’s a pledge to reject Medicare advantage that the other two candidates have signed and he has not. Why is that?

Why won’t you sign the pledge to not allow NYC retirees to be put on Medicare advantage? It’s sad that Cuomo and Sliwa did but you won’t. Very sus. Is that where you plan to get the money for free buses? Be honest. Plus you won’t give your opinion on the ballot initiatives? Hmmm 🤔

Haven’t heard a single thing about you on the poll coverage tonight. Maybe if you supported nyc government retirees in their fight against a predatory Medicare plan you’d have a shot. But no, you sided with the mayor. I hope you remember this. Karma’s a €!ťćħ

Adrienne Adams does not belong on your slate. She doesn’t care about NYC govt retirees, and therefore working families. You still haven’t explained why you accept that she wants to switch retirees’ Medicare to a predatory for profit Medicare Advantage plan by Aetna. Shame on you! Support 1096!

I’m not going to stop asking this until you can give an explanation as to why the WFP would support a candidate that is working against the party’s values. These govt retirees WORKED to support their FAMILIES by helping this city function. Why aren’t they guaranteed the Medicare they were promised?
May 17, 2025 at 4:35 PM
Adams is STILL not supporting NYC govt retirees’ fight to save their Medicare from being switched to a predatory for-profit Medicare Advantage plan from Aetna. Mamdani and Lander have voiced their support for the retirees so I like them. Please explain why you are ok with Adams doing this 🤨

My city councilmember @keithpowersnyc.bsky.social has still not agreed to support the retirees despite years of pleading, as well as multiple court rulings against the advantage plan. Here’s a full list of those that have supported and those that have not (photos attached).

Adrienne, Garrido, Eric, and Mulgrew all say the same false response: that the city council passing a bill to prevent the Aetna plan will interfere with the collective bargaining process, which isn’t true. Retired union leaders have confirmed that it won’t interfere

True but you need to stop supporting Adrienne Adams. Pretty sure she’s in the pocket of the current mayor and Aetna
May 16, 2025 at 7:30 PM
My mom dedicated her life to the city working as a social worker with the DOE. She deserves the Medicare that she was promised. The mayor isn’t even letting retirees opt out of the Aetna plan to switch to the federal Medicare system, and Adrienne supports him. Take her off your slate!
May 15, 2025 at 6:55 PM
I think this training is great, but off topic, why are you supporting Adrienne Adams? She supports the Mayor’s effort to switch the traditional Medicare benefits that retired NYC govt workers have to a for-profit plan from Aetna, despite 7+ court rulings against it. That’s not what you stand for!

Hellloooooo stop emailing me asking for $15 and start acting like the resistance party. This is not politics as usual. Begin a coordinated effort and start fighting fire with fire!
