I have added a nifty live stats page to this project so that people can see the current status.

I am guessing that the strata will ask me to take it down, or it will get stolen in the night.

I am worried that the exposed wires will make people think its a bomb. I changed the button from red (Danger) to green (Alive) to help reduce that chance.

So far its lasted 3 days and 190 button presses

Poll: What will be the ultimate demise of this project?

-😒 Strata will take it down
-👮 Police will think its a bomb 💣
-💸 Thief will take it
-⛓️‍💥 Smashed/Damaged by someone
-⌛Countdown will end because no one pushes the button
-🤖 Other technical reason

How long do you think it will last?

This was inspired by Reddit's 2015 April Fools project "The Button".

An online meta-game and social experiment that featured an online button and 60-second countdown timer that would reset each time the button was pressed.

Hmm. the positions.csv generated by the Fabrication Toolkit plugin looks to be correct. 0.0 Rotation.

So is there a problem with #JLCPCB import?

The KiCad Project files
github.com/funvill/Lond...

I used the Fabrication Toolkit plugin to generate the export for JLCPCB. Mostly for rotation and positioning

There is a bug with KiCad9

My fault for not checking the Fabrication Toolkit plugin after upgrading to KiCad9

As a backup, when the RP2040 is connected via USB to a PC, it enumerates as a serial terminal (115200 Baud 8-N-1). A user then could send encoded or decoded messages directly to the serial terminal instead of entering them using the rotary encoder one letter at a time.
