That cabinet meeting this week was like a celebration of life with all those eulogies.

I still recall the day my then 14 yo called me during the day bc the active shooter alarm went off at school. Instead of going to the designated safe space there, he ran the .5mile home w/o telling anyone there. Turned out to be a false alarm. 🙏🏻 He’s 23 now. I think of that day too often.
