It's not the end of course. The Taiwanese and Korean servers just announced next month's log-in bonus, so it's business for usual over there. MICA also has said they're looking to get the CN version online again.

I'm just spitballing here, but a lot of that gigabytes are probably voice lines. GFL2's main story is fully voiced, after all, and it's surprisingly long.
