Otherwise even hot water radiators can be taken off the wall and given thorough clean, even on the inside. But this is best done outside the heating season.

I'm not terribly worried. I also have very limited time and experience with gardening. I'm thinking more of adding a thick layer of mulch. But winters haven't been all that cold lately. Idk.

Yes, would love to! I planted some dahlias this spring and they grew fairly bushy but almost no flowers and certainly not so big.
