Which Led him to appear much, much more taller and overall bigger than Eclipse himself.

While Umbra took his time developing, getting all of the nutrients he needed to develop, Eclipse had came out of his egg prematurely which is why he appears much smaller than Umbra.

When the Black Comet had exploded Umbra was encased in a small meteorite (cont.)

Created at the same time as Eclipse, Black Death had intended for them to be one, however the egg split into two, realizing that meant It would take longer for them to develop

He would grow impatient and seperate them, with Eclipse being much more underdeveloped. (cont.)

Umbra The Darkling is a Black-Arms Super Soldier created and engineered as a contingency to counter Shadow The Hedgehog however also has another extension as a contingency to also counter and destroy Eclipse if he were to ever ditch the Black Arms.
