Got some outdoor climbing in. It’s been too long since I visited Sandstone last. #mnclimbing

Needed a helmet light for a nite ride over the weekend but my helmet doesn’t have a great place for a mount. I designed a removable (but super secure) GoPro mount. #mountainbiking #3dprinting

Needed a helmet light for the Wausau 25. I already had a light on my normal bike with a GoPro adapter I made, so time for my fav genre of #3Dprinting: attaching things to other things! Made a removable go pro mount for a Lazer coyote (might fit other Kineticore helmets I’m not sure) #mountainbiking

A good one from Devil’s Lake over the weekend Moo Stache v5. The rock is so similar to Blue Mounds in Southern MN.

Gonna spend the whole day staring at a computer finishing designs and a deck, but at least I can start the day at the climbing gym.

A few pics from Sawmill and Le Grand du Nord Gravel race the other week.

Spent the weekend in the woods camping, fly fishing, hiking, and eating good food. I don’t want to be back.

Would love to do a tour of crags about to be bulldozed, mined, logged, or sold. From Oak Flat to Moe’s to Sawmill there is way more loss of public lands happening, or being proposed, than people realize. You could do the same thing with Mtn bike or hiking trails, trout streams, camp grounds, etc.

Anyways Utah is amazing, their politics are fucked up.

Finished my tenkara spool design. Lots of testing (like years worth) went into this little thing. It’s functional and pretty darn cool looking. Check it out at the link in the bio and if you want one reach out, I’m sure we can figure something out.

Ok by popular opinion I’m calling this thing a Carnacle, a name so bad it’s good (hopefully). Been cleaning up the design and experimenting with the TPU pad, but have a few I can hand out if people want to test and provide some feedback. #mountainbike #3dprinting

Made a thing to keep my bike in place while loading/unloading. The Bike Barnacle (Bikenacle … Carnacle?) magnets to the side of your vehicle and keeps you from throwing your bike on the ground. A soft TPU pad prevents scratching. #3dprinting #bike #mountainbike

So thankful for the system of trails right outside my door. MN is the best.

Bikers are better riders & drivers. “The overwhelming majority of bicyclists are not reckless,” reported the daily newsletter for JSTOR, a digital library of academic journals, “they mostly break laws in situations where little harm would come to themselves or others.”

I’m less pessimistic about AI than the author, but as someone who’s entire team got laid off after being acquired by a company that never understood what we did, the overall message is 100% correct.

Not sure if you do intro posts on here, but expect lots of outdoorsy stuff, hiking, biking, climbing, etc. and some of my side projects (most are outdoors adjacent)
