Getting PTSD just looking at this. Making custom cables ranks up there with doing accounts/taxes. Made the first one in 6 months and of course forgot to put the sleeve on before crimping it. 😭

It lives! Wish I’d taken it apart 8 years ago when the keyboard first stopped working, just unplugging and replugging the trackpad cable was the fix.

Finally fixed the keyboard issue with my old 2015 MacBook Pro (now just a media laptop). Fix was to unplug and then replug the trackpad cable. Now I’ve got a bloated battery to replace 😭

Have to disagree but only on the ratio. 1 part brandy to 2 parts port x.com/abitofcode/s... Got this wrong way round and ended up making around a pint of it in the end to get is back to the correct ratio. Also improved when using a port sipper
