"...those who know not, that they are not ..." -Alicia

Since that, I had an inkling (no pun intended) where part of the story was going - but I still felt my heart wrench at the end of act 2- she's wrong: they are! They exist in all the ways that matter!
What a good game

First try against the Serpenphare. Took almost two hours with Maelle being a boss and stealing all the shields. I have no regrets. #perserverenceofmy12yearoldself -- if I could do it when I was a kid, why shouldn't I do it as an adult, paying for my own games?! @clairobscur.bsky.social #expedition33

This is how I know I have become an absolute killjoy cynic: I suspect that Elon picked a fight w/ T because #dems we're getting media traction on the HORRIFIC CUTS to Medicaid in the "one big bill" & now instead of talking about how terrible this bill is for America, the media: "INTERNET CAGE MATCH"

"I am fighting a battle on behalf of everyday people who just want to get through their day, and feel safe, and warm, and fed. And then come along comes you. This noise. All day long. This RELENTLESS. NOISE.

Our neighbor planted a whole bushel of tulips. Thanks to some animal or the wind, we now have a beautiful little surprise two tulips on our lawn the week of our wedding, feeling absolutely symbolic and cute. Nature's amazing.

Also this is how inspiration works: how do I say I’m “too tired” to write one more postcard, make one more call, after witnessing this?

Getting way too much enjoyment out of the change to Atlantic Author Notes. Sometime you just have to laugh.

Watching P. Trump talk about "America is back", juxtaposed with my first-hand experience of how much less investment my business clients are willing to risk right now...

It just makes me think of the line. "You ever seen somebody ruin their own life?"

They out here saying they're the protectors of free speech, while passing out memo's demanding people not say mention flashpoint topics such as [checks notes] "diversity, gender, inclusivity, organized labor, immigration rights, refugee rights, *human rights*, intersectionality"

so free.

Trying to follow the news - actual language of the EO's and memos vs. actual quotes of the T administration & it's like. My brain actually *hurts.* I have a literal headache trying to untangle basic facts.

And then you get to "hard hitting" questions like "Do you support these onesies?" (1/12)

if there is one funny thing about yesterday’s blitzkrieg of executive orders is that it makes the “democratic opposition went too far last time” crowd look like total dipshits

I'm sorry but. In what way can you have a law be just, be lawfully convicted, & also impose no penalty whatsoever for being convicted of breaking it? That would tell me either: the law is injust& should be repealed *or* that circumstances of penalty would be cruel&unusual and break the 8th. What!?
