Ask him to specify what cooperation he is looking for. Then check data from the Dept of Corrections to see if they are still using false info

Will he stop using false and misleading info? The Dept of Corrections was forced to set up a public web site to provide data. DHS says there are 1306 non US citizens in state prison. The real number is 207. ICE counts transfers of custody from prison to ICE as an arrest. Honesty would help.

He didn't admit that the numbers they use and allegations about cooperation are misleading. Since Jan 15 the Dept of Corrections keeps sending out releases pointing to false and misleading info. DOC calls ICE before a prisoner designated as a detainee is released. ICE counts transfers

He also continues to mislead the public on cooperation with the state. Since Jan 15 the Dept of Corrections corrects the data about the number of people held and cooperation. The prison service has been cooperating. There is a new web site with documentation. mn.gov/doc/about/ne...

If they do it right they can show how policing can build trust. In areas with high levels of gang or gun activity they can make a difference by spending time in the community.
