Really strong start to the last few episodes of the season. I think they’re trying to show how grief isn’t a linear process and every character will have different takeaways. Intrigued what set ups they will leave for season 9.

Excellent thoughts! I also don’t think he needed to die, but I am curious how they’ll handle it. Season 8 has had a lot of misses, some hits. I think they can tie in what Bobby’s death means for them well, but it’s all about execution. So we will see, indeed!
