We've been loving this interactive, call and response book which gets everyone laughing and dancing. It's also inspired my 3yo to do several 'bare bear butt dances'... You'll have to read it to understand. #funnypicturebooks #kidlit #picturebook

A funny and thoughtful book about a day where everything goes wrong. With a toddler and a new baby in the house we're very familiar with big shouting days. Last night this book was read four times in a row and it nearly became a big shouting bedtime! #picturebook #toddlers #toddlerbooks

How this week has felt: Writing is done in sporadic bursts. Sleep is just as fragmented. Breastfeeding doubles as reading time - moments of calm in the chaos. The soundtrack is my toddler asking me to play on repeat, needing connection.

Been a bit quiet here lately. After 2 weeks in hospital my son was born early at 34 weeks on 26th April 2025. We're still in hospital, but doing well. My husband drew this picture of us... Apparently my tiredness was showing. 🤣 #nicubaby #writingcommunity

Reading #thehungrycaterpillar as our bedtime story and my 3yo is putting his hand over the food the caterpillar isn't allowed to eat because my 3yo has dips.
Really hope the caterpillar is better at sharing than a toddler 🤣

Tess is struggling with the loss of her Dad, being friendless, & the terrifying pains her stomach sends her. When she gets a chance to compete in the Bake Off she must pull everything together. Really enjoyed this book, funny and warm-hearted, and good to see a portrayal of #crohns. #mg #kidlit

Ventured into the non fiction children's section of the library today with my 3 year old and this hurricane book has officially made both our brains explode.
The level of questions is intense but also amazing and wonderful.
