I studied German history at school, college then university in the UK, then taught it for twelve years… after four years living in Berlin, I still get excited to see the places in real life, that I used to see in textbooks.

My daughter is in a pushchair and pretty much every day out in Berlin ends up in having to carry it up stairs somewhere. I cannot begin to imagine how hard it is for people with mobility problems. Its definitely becoming the norm rather than the exception.
