I’m trying to give myself 30 minutes a day to ignore my thesis writing, stop reading climate change literature, and just pretend that everything is okay.
Today that looked like teaching my dog where to put her ball and my horse where to stand so I can reach down and grab it with the chuckit.

Today I got to sit with my oldest friend. Thank you for putting so much trust in a 12 year old girl and for showing me what flying feels like. I miss you every day bubs.
