I don’t think I’ve ever said the F word out loud, but it definitely is not gratuitous in this situation!

Better: sit with them in their pain and feel it with them. It’s harder, but so much more healing!

I posted this photo on FB, and I got so many comments! Some of my Christian friends were quite upset about it. But I refuse to hide in the closet. I’m an ally, and I will stand up for and defend those in the LGBTQ community. And I will not be quiet about it.

If you think the Bible condemns homosexuality, then these points need to be taken into consideration as well. I don’t believe that the Bible condemns it, though. Even if it does condemn homoerotic behavior (and I don’t believe it does), it doesn’t condemn those with same-sex attraction as persons.
