We have to get real about the alternative. And it’s fascism. In the form of Farage.

I get it. But I predicted this. I was delighted when they beat the Tories but it was clear as day this would happen. Not because they’re incompetent. Because the country has not been as divided or fed up (understandably) in my lifetime. How could any leader succeed within a year, in this climate?

I can’t bring myself to accept he’s screwed. Watching him today and knowing our comparison these days is in for form of Farage. They’re not in the same ballpark. He’s far from perfect, but surely we need to get behind him. The alternative doesn’t even bear thinking about…
