At any other time in history, each event would have been the end of a"career". A thousand times over in THIS time in history there are no consequences/ends/karma. The greed & apathy is strong in our current society. It's even weirder that most who are creating the problem are not highly intelligent.

It's strange to me how there seems to be so many people who weren't born with empathy of any amount. I wouldn't have thought it was such a large percentage of the human population. I wonder why and how it happens and why it's so prevalent.

I saw a post on Instagram about the common American "Anus Tangerinus" and I will never be able to not think of that name again nor will I ever be able to see it without hearing David Attenborough's voice describing it.🤣

The earth is truly spectacular and here we are as a collective focusing on small, short term and insignificant things rather than proping it up and helping preserve it.

Why the destruction and short sightedness is winning out I can not understand. It is insane to destroy the only place you have to live. It is insanity not to see the miraculous beauty that we are blessed to have.

Humans have the capacity to live in harmony with the earth. They have the ability to nurture and not harm this amazing blue green speck of the universe ( the only place that we actually have to live). We also unfortunately have the capacity to destroy it as well as everything else on it.

Apparently having access to practically unlimited amounts of money allows you to do just about anything you want without any legal consequences. If you are incredibly rich, it seems that you don't have to follow the same rules.

I am curious, what do you think the role of a society is? Why do we have societies? What is the role of a government? Why do we have them? I'm sure there are differing ideas about this and I would love to hear what yours are. Inquiring minds want to know.

If there is such a thing as the multiverse, how do I get to the one where the 2016 election went the other way. I'd love to see how that one turned out.

I'm waiting to hear a voice over by Rod Sterling saying that this is just a bizarre episode of the Twilight Zone and then I wake up in an alternate universe where reason, logic, compassion, empathy and morals are the driving force of our society.

I miss the "checks and balances". I miss the sanity. I miss waking up and not even thinking about " what crazy new &$#@* story is on the news today. I miss intelligent adults making decisions.

the pendulum of society typically swings back and forth between far right and left. it seems to still be swinging"off the charts" in one direction. I am hoping that the swing will start going the other way within my lifetime. I also hope that when it does, there is still a viable earth.

If you intentionally destroy everything,you create a perfect path to declare a "state of emergency" which then gives you the power to do practically anything.Look @ history & see how these things have occurred in the past. Don't be fooled into thinking that it couldn't happen here.We are not immune.

Think clearly, sharpen your focus and see the long term not the short term. Try to be as helpful as you can within your community and try to not be overwhelmed as much as possible.
