The era of the Pharaohs, the dynasties in China. Imperial Japan, the Ottoman Empire. All could have made the “greatest in world history” claim, because they loomed abundantly massive for their time periods.

I figured that Lander would run for a seat in Congress. That is the best path forward for him. It doesn’t surprise me that Mamdani supports Lander in that effort, he will have a third ally in DC. They likely discussed that during the Mayoral campaign.

If a salary cap made a difference, the New York Yankees, who always have the biggest payroll, would be in the World Series more often, they have been in the Series once in the last 13 years. The Dodgers have been 6 times during that period.

Salary caps are irrelevant, having players that want to win determines whether a team wins. If you study history, those great Steeler teams had many starters on both sides of the ball who became Hall of Fame inductees - they had a huge desire to win.

So are copiers. Unless Trump, Bondi, Kash are doing the shredding, they can’t be sure that copies are not being made. They painted themselves into a corner with the “investigate Democrats order”. If prominent Democrats were involved in that shit, I want them to burn.

Stuff like that doesn’t get destroyed. There are likely a few copies of the worse of it out there and it will get leaked.

But she said publicly that the Epstein files don’t exist. She has put herself in a trap that will lead to her going to prison, if she purgers herself, she goes to prison when the rule of law is restored. Good defense attorneys are going to tie her and her thugs into knots.

Trump spent last week desperately trying to get one of the signatures of Mace, Greene and Bobert off the discharge petition. That failed. Why would Trump do that if he wasn’t terrified of what could be found out about his involvement.

Pam Bondi is supposed to be an experienced lawyer and prosecutor. She should know that any “incriminating” information that her “investigation” uncovers will be subject to discovery at trial, and good defense attorneys will dig into the source and look for related information.

I even doubt that he has ever run a small company and had to choose between paying a big bill or using the money to pay for more product to sell, in the hopes of making enough money to pay the big bill and gain enough extra cash to give the business some breathing room.

I believe that Rattner is Ivy League educated and worked on Wall Street and became a top player there. Even though he worked for a Democratic President, he doesn’t have an everyday person pedigree. It is unlikely that he knows what losing a job without having one lined up feels like.

Nah. Babe Ruth was and still is the greatest all around. He pitched and hit, setting a total home run record that stood for like 45+ years. He won 67% of the games that he pitched. And he played in the outfield during a good part of his career. Henry Aaron is now the greatest home run hitter.

Which red wine do you use? I don’t normally cook with wine, but tried some on a recent stew batch. I used Rose, and felt that the flavor addition was extremely weak, really not worth the effort.

Because if they are doing their jobs properly, Federal Judges don’t comment on the political going on inside the country, unless they have to rule on a politics related issue, and then they follow the law 100% when ruling.

I hope that he reconsiders resigning now. If he quits, Trump gets to replace him with a shitty person. Stay until February of 2029 and then resign.

She is 77 years old. That is really old for a first year Senator. She has been an excellent Governor and legislature for her state, I hope that she reconsider and back one of the really good young democrats against Bernie’s choice. We don’t need another Fetterman.
