One of my favorite things about Glass Onion is how every time I see a picture of Andrew Tate, I'm surprised by how small and ugly he is. Then I realize that I'm comparing him to Dave Bautista.

Uh, he's describing immigration. If this actually worked, then ICE would be throwing (white) people in the gulag for trying to move to Texas.

I think that those two ideas use different definitions of "crime." The second one is describing evil behavior that ought to be illegal, but isn't always, because the wealthy have lawyers and lobbyists. The first one engages with the right-wing definition: "crime" = "poor/non-white people."

Some players I know do love to have lengthy campaigns and prefer to stick with one system. But I'm the opposite. I get really passionate about a system and an idea and I GM an amazing campaign for a few months and then I'm abruptly over it. I've disappointed those poor players so many times...

That's why I love Mon Laferte!

They don't really even need the $20. They're zero-sum thinkers, so they think that if other people have less, it automatically means that they have more.

As a New College graduate, I'm familiar with the feeling. But I'll never get used to it.

The thing is, even if he really didn't know the significance of the tattoo when he got it, it's a test of character now. If he had basic decency he would apologize and remove it right away. If he refuses to admit that anything is wrong, that's a sign of a Fetterman.

I honestly think that a lot of the influence of Apocalypse World is due to how compellingly the book is written.

I'm envious!

Yeah, I loved Redshirts but the audiobook made me decide to forever ignore the people who tell you not to use any verb other than "said" for dialogue.

But it's sadly out of print! The closest I have is Blades in the Dark - which is lovely, of course.

Like how Seeker was always getting beaten up on the covers of the Third Edition CHAMPIONS books! I miss seeing that plucky Australian ninja dangling from the mitts of some scary new supervillain every few months.
