Well Bobby and Kuz help with the tank

But they're too far ahead of the bottom teams anyway for it to make a difference

It's part of their anti-trust exception that they dont play games Friday during high school football or Saturday during CFB

DW at least to me was a purposeful foil. Having a sibling can be hard and is a good lesson.

Caillou is just a horrible human

save to a library of links/quick access from another linked website.

i.e. followed teams with say links to those 12 teams you have "followed"

Either I will be shocked by 90% of the deals signed by those top 20 guys or the list has incredibly inflated prices.

curious the main reason for the large difference in Jordan Love's numbers? Is adjustments mostly opponents?

I'd put him on the Adames plan personally BUT assuming they get an offer they can't refuse, his salary means he passes the Tampa Test.

I.e. everyone in baseball can take his money on. That's an incredibly good spot to be in.

I liked him too coming out. But yeah did basically nothing. Don't blame them for moving on

CBAs in other pro sports almost always have a percentage of revenue that MUST go to the players. Sets the cap - including both the salary and the floor.

The Bucks are required to hit their number by the CBA; Packers are not.

NHL/NBA/NFL players all get about 50% of revenue. I doubt MLB players are

I do think there's an argument that spending the buy-out money on players would be a better use of the money than spending $25 million (and then probably another $25 mil for new coach/staff/whatever else) to get rid of him

I don't have a huge problem with Abner pitching yesterday.

But I'd have started the 9th with someone else (maybe Anderson). Warm Abner and he comes in if necessary to face Ohtani + rest of the top of the order.

Especially since as great as Freddie is, its very unlikely Freddie finishes 6 today

Or at least wait until after Game 5
October 10, 2025 at 2:14 PM
I think that would've been the move with Gasser (which honestly I probably preferred in a vaccum).

I think they ultimately didn't trust Gasser to throw enough strikes against a patient Cub lineup (which is probably the correct move in a playoff series).
October 6, 2025 at 3:55 PM
depending on Cubs lineup, Ashby sees anywhere from 4-6 hitters.

Priester (assuming reasonable effectiveness) goes the next 12-15 avoiding Tucker seeing him the second time (unless he is just mowing down everyone)
October 6, 2025 at 3:24 PM
I'm with you on Gasser but I get Murphy et al not trusting him enough - especially with all walks
October 6, 2025 at 12:15 AM
Id probably have thrown Mears. I feel like Koenig is going to face those lefty hitters a lot in this series and I don't want Tucker etc getting extra looks in a 99.8 PCT game
October 4, 2025 at 8:52 PM
I'm not only because Murphy clearly has no use for him
Even if that in itself isn't particularly rational
October 4, 2025 at 4:25 PM
Just show up extra early. They'll interview you, ask a few questions and you'll be on your way.

It won't be that bad just give yourself an extra 30 minutes

Gotcha

My gut says Brewers will only allow hitters and catchers to use the challenges. Batters probably only for bigger leverage calls.
