Old man, living in Málaga who still wants a fairer, peaceful world. Reverse Brexit and stop banging on about immigration, they're humans too.
Oh! and cricket, golf, tennis and Leicester City
We're getting some dramatic clouds coming from your direction Debbie. So far, not much rain.

How is an elected MP, who we pay £90,000pa to represent Skegness, allowed to live in Dubai so he can avoid paying taxes on the money we pay him?

I live near Malaga and it's booming. The technology park is a catalyst and, of course, tourism, hospitality and construction. Workers with skills from all over the World attracted to the welcoming climate, and not just the weather.

It's 9 months old but worth reminding people. Better economic growth in the UK needs the input from migrants. Whether highly skilled, or those needed to do the jobs young Brits won't do, they're needed. The Labour government, playing light Reform, need to change course.

As a departee in 2021, to Spain, because of Brexit, I would say that there's many who are now resident here, who would previously have gone backwards and forwards. They would have retained UK tax residency but are now paying taxes to Spain. I guess the same applies to Italy, France and Portugal.

The majority of Reform voters are turned on by his racism. They won't equate it with Hitler, fascism, or what our ancestors fought against. Too complicated for them.

Surely EEA would be quicker and politically easier than the hurdles of full EU membership. There'd be a backlash from the usual culprits but, "the will of the people" crap is more easily refuted. Long-term, rejoin when possible.

That's a great point, I hadn't thought of it that way.

Easily conned doctors, and discrimination act laws that are difficult and expensive for small employers to negotiate.
