This is not trickledown. No one is proposing a tax cut for the rich. We need our companies and our economy to be strong and healthy. That means making policies more flexible.

I understand, but a good economy is overall far better for people in pretty much every way. Incomes, crime, mental illness, homelessness, poverty, etc etc. I'd take a good economy any day.

Bill C5 and Ontario's Bill 5 aren't ideal, but the situation does call for it. We do need the investments.

Canada's productivity in its economy has a lot of noise due to the outsized role of resource extraction and its vicious boom and bust cycles. Essentially, less productive methods of extraction are viable when commodity prices are high, lowering productivity. Beyond that, it's just the ICT sector.

There are a bevy of Canadian- American corps who lobbied for Canada last time, like Molson-Coors and RBI, Tim Hortons and Burger King.
