The “we must succeed and they must fail” approach specifically when it comes to china is killing the US economy.

Responding to US tariffs, china reduced its purchase of US soybean from $12 billion (annually) to $0.

Now there is a ban on export of Nvidia AI chips to china. Interesting times.
US misses out on billions of dollars of China soybean sales midway through peak season
U.S. farmers are missing out on billions of dollars of soybean sales to China halfway through their prime marketing season, as stalled trade talks halt exports and rival South American suppliers step in to fill the gap, traders and analysts said.

How can any leader with common sense see what is happening in Russia-Ukraine, Sudan, and Israel-Palestine, and decide to start another war? We are living through some crazy times, walahi.

If I could, I would ask one question:

Prime Minister Carney, as an accomplished economist, can you clearly depict the state of trade in products and services between Canada and USA. Who has deficit/surplus and in what exactly.

I am emailing this q to Carney’s team.

The Chinese are not playing around, chale. Either they develop the idea, or you develop it and they improve it for you.

The West is still struggling to come to terms with the impact of DeepSeek, yet the Chinese have already released another one called Manus. It’s game over.

It’s funny how Trump decided to go with trade tariffs as an option to get what he wants from self-sufficient nations (i.e., China, Canada, and Mexico), but in the case of South Africa, he simply decided to cut aid.

This is a wake-up call for the rest of the continent.
