in a sentence: we want tangled to be a federated github

So, the thing is that in GitHub, developers have to be professional (and that's 101% understandable). But with that site, developers might be able to just code and share their projects--smart or goofy.
It has only been around 9-10 months, but I'm really looking forward to what it will become!

I read that but didn't really grasp everything there was to know about it.
(I'll read it again anyways)

When I first got on GitHub, I saw it as the social-media for developers--and I still feel like it is! But it also includes professionals.
That's what fascinates me about "tangled.sh" (at least what I understood) is that it has potential to become the platform for programming-hobbyists.
