Anyways no one will see this, small indie game vompany made one amazing game that was very well tuned. They then decided to kill that legacy with a sequel only designed for the people who live and breath unfair and hardcore challenges.
I guess steelsoul mode was a hint all along.

an insular team where one NEW somewhat normal playtester could have told them "guys this isnt actually good" and the experience would have been better. Even for the hardcore appologists, who think that masochisme is a virtue and or because they didn't struggle the game is perfect bo notes.

A=B B=C transitive property right? This pipeline is apparently something other people have done and the Algo(d) just wanted to speed you along it.

Draw steel at least has singular abilities like in 5e that make you go wow I can do that, especially early which is where a lot of d20 fantasy sees the bulk of their play.
Pf2e is a bit too locked down but I am looking forward to giving it my 4th or so go soon. See if my thoughts still hold water!

I am playing PF2e very soon with some friends and I am looking forward to it. Generally I think somehow there are too many options but none of them feel inherently exciting because there aren't any outliers and it takes 10-100s of hours to even get the building blocks of optimizing in PF2e
