The important part is that he's wearing sock suspenders, like he's all noir, all cool, all sophisticated in the LEGS, while Junpei is wearing normal, white, tube socks. If you've got attention to detail you would realize this is a DECEIT, a RUSE: Ryotaro Dojima doesn't have the mental energy to wear sock suspenders because the man is still too sad to be THAT fancy.
