I felt the same way, I actually think the story would work better without the romance. It's a shame because the concept is fascinating 😕

All I saw was 5 star reviews for Onyx Storm as soon as I saw someone call it a masterpiece I was like this place is not for me 😂😂

Personally I found this book really fast paced to the point I actually think it needs to slow down a little so the characters and relationships can actually be developed.
