Another teacher and I received a small grant from our school's parent foundation for 3D printing to support our math classes. Thinking class sets for hands on for students and larger models for display. When choosing filament, it was Printed Solid Jessie PLA all the way! @printedsolid.bsky.social

My "Double Integral" models are now at Cults3D.
These are terrific for my Calculus III class, and the added bonus is that my younger students started asking questions about higher-order mathematics as well!

Giving up for now, but open to food for thought...
Trying PETG for support interface layers on XL. Issue seems the PETG won't stick to the PLA in the wipe tower. It make globs that then stick up and get caught in the nozzles, etc. The support itself seems to be printing fine. 🤷♀️

Intended as a 360 x 360 print to clean a stain on the plate, but I couldn't let such a nice top surface go unused. 🤔
My son chose to make it a sign for the Haunted House at his school Halloween Carnival! 🎃
