um, i think it'll handle it? tho you will be seeing lower fps (<45). i have a rx7800 xt, ryzen 5 7600x with 64gb ram and i get like 45-60ish in major cities usually

what specs you got? could probably estimate it xd, from what i remember theres also a page on star citizen website with "popular" pc specs and their performance for the game. bonus points if you on linux cuz the game runs butter smooth even through wine lmao

but yeah i highly recommend checking the game out at the next free fly event which will be during IAE when you can also freely try out any ship in the game for the duration of the event

yeah- i would suggest not going juat for the cheapest package, i would recommend going for the mining one with the drake golem, slightly more expensive but you can go directly into ship mining and make more cash faster xd. tho you can also rent ships ingame too you dont have to buy them (not all)

you can play the game many times for free every year during their free fly events, the next one will be in a few weeks at the end of the month. and no one is forcing you to buy lots of ships, you can just get a starter package and thats it. if you buy more thats supposed to be just to support CIG

true and if i remember correctly they did hit a deal with some investor for squadron 42 that it would be finished by 2025 (it is feature complete as of now and getting ready for release probably late 2026), and the development of sq42 directly helps sc. but yeah personally id choose "AA" for sc

and rdr2 had a budget of like 400 mil, typical modern aaa titles reach hundreds of millions and budget alone wouldnt rly dictate indie/aa/aaa, for me its other aspects too of how it was funded, size of dev team etc

yes i know everything about SC, one of my favourite games lmao, they soon to reach 900m. but the thung about it is its completely crowd funded and not by single large investors + all that money isnt going to sc alone but also to the development of their star engine and squadron 42

well no, it would be AA since it's not a major corporation and its not funded by major investors which is what usually happens with AAA titles. and i wouldnt count it as indie due to its budget and dev team, thats why i would say it's AA

well atm you have indie which i would define as a small/start up game company (example: landfall games), the like of balders gate 3 and expedition 33 those would be more AA titles rather than indie. and AAA would be large game company made games the like of rockstar, ubisoft etc etc

yeah it's very fun, and very maneuverable makes it incredibly fun to fly and you also get weapon storage on the front bottom pillars which can also act as cover for when you are getting out of the ship :3

yeah for sure, if you really min-max the guardian it is incredibly fun to use tho you will spend i think like 600-900k auec on stuff, mostly the attrittion 5s are the most pricy
