Morocco is 1 of ~38 states that prohibits citizenship renunciation & imposes it on nationals' children born abroad. w/ Imke Harbers, I write that such "imposed" dual citizenship can lead to such violations:

on Dutch elections: the use of Moroccan "immigrants" in
@nytimes coverage is misleading.

Wilders doesn't only target immigrants, but *Dutch citizens* of Moroccan descent. (who are typically identified in NL as citizens with "a migration background.")
