We've never referred to it as a stout or porter - although I think CAMRA defined it as such in their Good Beer Guide until recently, it's now just called "STRONG" in there 🙂

It was previously known as a "sultry dark ale"! But the recipe hasn't changed in re-styling it as a Black IPA. We believe it's always been one, even before the term was there to describe it 🍻
