With progress like this, one-term governorship incoming

Hey Bob, are you listening? Fuck this idea. I personally didn't vote for you so you could spend $100M on hiring more cops.

Other options such as not oppose genocide? Sorry not sorry.

The left must unite in opposing the genocide, there are no other options.

Every time you have a chance to steal from a corporation, but for some reason you don't, rest assured: the corporation does, every damned time.

I'd argue that rather green card is a core tenet of our immigration policy.

Easy, bro! The dickriding contest is next door.

I personally benefited from H1B and became a first generation immigrant.
In all my consciousness, I can't do anything but support it for others. "I got mine, so screw you" is peak Republicanism and goes against my core values.
But yes, the immigration system requires fixing, if not overhauling.

Right, it's of course up to the individual circumstances.
It's very hard to find a new job this quickly and an employer who'd be willing to transfer your work visa too. It was hard 10 years ago, and nowadays the majority won't even consider your application, it's not worth the efforts and risks.

I'm pretty sure the majority of those Americans were the first generation immigrants too.
Depending on one's country of birth, naturalization takes anywhere from 5 to 25 years.

It's such a niche policy. The majority of voters don't know and/or cannot care less. It would only apply to people on a work visa or a green card at most, who cannot vote anyway.

This is not true, that attorney was saying stupid, harmful things. There is a legal window to find a new job (1 month, I guess). Plus there is leniency for overstaying, then the process ("consulate processing") to work around and overcome the violation.
December 28, 2024 at 5:58 PM
H1B is a form of human trafficking, actually. The majority of employers (a few big tech corps are an exception) would absolutely exploit you. Plus, your spouse's life is miserable (no work permit whatsoever).
How do I know? I was exploited myself, until I got to work for Microsoft where I was not.

The inability, up to the unwillingness, to curb Trump and Netanyahu will overshadow all of it. Already did.

Who's the minority leader here, you or Nancy?

How did the fight for AOC go?

Here's another one, brilliant too: stop it, get some help. No one thought of it until now.

The Rupar guy is fine with it, it's "it sucks, but it's life" for him. The murder of the CEO is completely something else and way worse, apparently.

Imagine working at MacDonald's for $13/h and deciding it's a good thing to snitch him out.
