If you can decipher this gorgeous cursive - my 97yo grandmother passed down these handwritten recipes l. Some hers, some her mom's. This is traditional Nova Scotia version. Her family has been in the Annapolis Valley since settlement.

My trans baby kept their birth name, but has a family nickname. I keep getting certificates come home from guides in 2 versions: one with their birth name, one with their pet name.
Then I realized that, in an effort to be progressive, guides has assumed "Buck" is a chosen post transition name.
