This could very easily serve as a starting point for a Putin invasion into the Baltics and major power move to blockade a portion of the Baltic Sea. There’s never been a better time politically for Putin to do this than now. I fear he also knows this.

Yep I think you’re spot on with it. It’ll very much be similar to Putin’s claims of “Russian speaking Ukrainians” needing Russian involvement in the east. We’re still a few steps away from it happening, but he’s burning the bridges fast. It’s going to get messy

1000%. People tried to dismiss the rumors about the U.S. removing our troops from the Baltics but it absolutely lines up with the goals of a Russian offensive to retake satellite states without U.S. intervention. I just hope they see what the rest of us are seeing.
