Just "vibe coded" this little incremental game using Gemini 2.5 and my 0 knowledge of javascript and p5.js.

I don't even want to look at the code 😂 but so far it's being a fun experience of telling what to implement next, although I'm missing a proper IDE integration

Very proud of this small designed and #3Dprinted gadget to hold my Ikea's greenhouse lid. Prints in place with working hinge and needs some tree supports for the hook. Took me ~3h to design and ~1h to print on my new #X1C 😍

My latest #gamedev sidetrack is that I discovered a neat Discord bot API made in Kotlin and I'm playing with it with no specific purpose 😂 Cannot not-love any API that looks like this for prompt-response interactions by using coroutines 😍

Remember #godot #gamedevs out there, if you don't want the sound control of your games to work like Bluesky's audio control in videos, where at ~40% you can barely hear the sound anymore... remember to map your slider's linear values to proper DB values:

`linear_to_db` and `db_to_linear` FTW!

Sooo it seems adding a save feature wasn't that bad at the end!

Managed to save player's inventory, quests and world state (interactions, unlocks, etc) in one night.

Also went a bit rogue and added a little hacky code to display the saved game day on the menu 🤭

I wasn't considering using 3rd party libs/plugins for my #gamedev journey because I wanted to try to do all by myself.

But seeing some libs made by amazing people it's hard not to, adding this 4 already facilitated my life a lot and let me focus on the game

Playing with some very basic scene triggers in Godot today, came up with a reasonable simple script where I can connect my triggers to and then connect its signal to the action I want to make.

Refreshing the home feed on the web doesn't seem to work very well sometimes. This screen appears briefly when hitting the load more button and now it stays after refreshing
