I just argued online with someone who doesn’t see a problem with categorizing everything. If nothing else, it’s doing the labeling for AI image generators for free, so they can pump out even more slop. I don’t feel good.

My ThinkPad running Vista can suddenly not play some videos on YouTube or any videos here on BlueSky... I think something screwy is going on. (Yes I know major services walk away from old ass technologies, especially for video playback, but like... wtf.)

Apparently Flirb is not actually dying, but just to be sure I'm only going to start making new posts on it next week.
For those who didn't know, Flirb has announced that it's shutting down it's services on December 1st. I made sure to back up all the relevant images to my posts, I only posted so many so I just did it manually. Rest in peace, Flirb. #flirbmemorial

I’m generating videos of Saltman failing to use old technology because I heard each video costs about 5 dollars to make. I think I’ve cost them about 35 dollars, now, and for him to look like a fool who doesn’t know what he’s doing.
