There is madness everywhere on this planet. Watching world events and what is happening to our climate can be overwhelming. Breathe. Find things that make you happy and grounds you. I am lucky because I live near the Pacific Ocean and I paint Ocean themes. It keeps me grounded.

There’s one in Baton Rouge. Krispy Kreme donuts fresh from the bakery are a real treat. It’s been over 10 years since I’ve had them though…it was down the street from where I used to work and people brought them in a lot. There are boxes of them at our local grocery store but it’s just not the same.
