Could just be Kanye being crazy. But not too out of pocket to think he might be implicated in some dark stuff during the trial. It's obviously gone quiet but I'd be surprised if Jay-Z is the only person to be directly linked to some serious stuff.

With all the volativity coming, it'll be a miracle if there aren't some pretty seismic shocks. Just praying there isn't some systemic crisis considering their efforts to gut any ability to respond. Not much evidence out there for optimism.

Banning it just pushes it underground. It definitely needs to be more heavily regulated. Like live betting. There's a class action against live betting here in Australia. I signed up and might actually get a little payout if they win.

Quit after I ended up like $1000 over two years. It definitely detracted from my enjoyment of boxing and MMA. Caring more about who won, over just appreciating good fights and technique
Not saying my experience speaks for everyone, but definitely seems to apply to a good portion of sports gamblers

Like it doesn't seem it'd be hard to gum up the works to slow or halt a lot of this stuff. But these ppl just have no interest in taking any political risks to preserve their party, or what remains of their self respect. Just mass cowardice on full display.
