We've heard that Mason's BOV may vote to eliminate GMU's Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion on April 1. This is the same racist BS we've seen in Virginia since Jim Crow. It stops now. #DiversityEquityInclusion

Multiple BOV members have said they want to dismantle all diversity and equity programs at Mason. Here we go again. These programs have been under attack in Virginia since segregation. We are NOT letting them take us backward. #FloodTheBOV

GMU BOV member Charles Cooper believes the Governor should dictate what is taught in the classroom - including prohibitions on criticizing state policies. GMU-AAUP vehemently disagrees!! We are organizing in March to protect our freedom as teachers and researchers. Sign up here: bit.ly/4kmoJvU
