got my half of the art trade I did with the incredible @mohrdoesart.bsky.social in the mail today! the best part about vending at art events is meeting other local artists and I’m so grateful to have met Lauren! 💖

Artist are honestly the only laborers I see that work 8+ hours for a product, give it for free, work several hours as their own advertisers, networkers, producers and more. Only for the chance of poverty wages and unstability.

And motherfuckers still come and call them entitled and elitist....

The Mexican wildlands firefighters of Conafor (Mexico's forestry commission) are considered some of the best wildland firefighters in the world. They've helped us with large wildfires in the US including California, Colorado, Montana, Idaho, New Mexico, and they helped up in BC too
