Yes. 85 percent of the "citizens of NYC" take the train or bus or bike or Uber. Only non-NYC people complain about it.

As the first Bangladeshi elected CB chair in NYC, as a Millennial father of a 5-year-old, I URGE working people and parents to try to find two free evenings a month and APPLY! Now is the time to do it and advocate for our interests from this part of local government!

It's been retirees and seniors in these boards for years and years, which is why the ballot measure passed to implement term limits on board members. It's why I make the time to do this, because they don't advocate for us. WE have to. Please apply.

People of a certain generation and mindset don't consider walking most of the time. Big Auto has spent billions over decades to brainwash generations. Especially this guy who owns a $2M property in Manhattan crying about having to spend $9 instead of walking 10 blocks.
